Set on over 6 acres in the heart of Santa Ynez valley wine country, Mattei’s Tavern is the center of Los Olivos, a charming, bucolic town flanked by vineyards and imbued with California history. With buildings dating back to 1886, and new spaces to compliment the original architecture, this historic site features 60 guest rooms and cottages. The property also boasts dining concepts such as the reimagined historic Tavern restaurant, the original Saloon Bar, and nods to history with Gin’s Tap Bar, Felix Feed & Coffee, plus a pool with pool bar, and our quaint, restorative Cottage Spa. The Inn is also excited to present a Signature Auberge Spa, The Lavender Barn, in the coming months. For travelers with a sense of wanderlust and adventure, town is a short walk from their room.
