Stanley Park
One of North America's largest urban parks covering 1,000 acres, Stanley Park is perfect for the fitnessenthusiast. Facilities include an aquarium, a zoo, 22 miles (33 km) of hiking and walking trails. There arealso cycling paths, tennis courts, Indian Totem Poles and a scenic drive. Stanley Park is connected via theseawall, and approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) from the hotel.
Cycling
Vancouver is a cyclist's dream! There are trails in 16 regional parks, including the popular 6.2 miles (10 km)seawall route along Stanley Park's shore and the 10.5 miles (17 km) route along the Spanish Banks. There are more than a dozen rental shops in the downtown area that rent all types of bicycles. Rollerblades are also available.

South Granville
Just over the Granville Street Bridge, this 10-block stretch of Granville Street--from Sixth Avenue up to 16th Avenue--is where Vancouver's old-money enclave of Shaughnessy comes to shop. An interactive science centre suitable for the entire family. Exhibits explore themes such as physics and British Columbia's natural history. The Kid's Space Gallery will be a favourite with the younger children. Science World also offers films in the Alcan Omnimax Theatre which is the world's largest big screen dome.

Queen Elizabeth Park
Perched atop a hill, Queen Elizabeth Park offers panoramic views of the city of Vancouver. Van Dusen Botanical Garden
