Bistro

Bistro is a delicious French-style restaurant with a prime ocean front location in the adult-only section of Grand Velas All Suites & Spa Resort Riviera Maya. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Bistro offers a wide selection of French-inspired dishes as well as local favorites. The Bistro menu features soups, salads, sandwiches on fresh-baked French bread, decadent quiches, croissants, and Riviera Maya specialties like Mayan ceviche and seafood Yucatan pozole. The Bistro breakfast menu features such delightful offerings as French toast, omelets, and Playa del Carmen eggs. Bistro also offers an extensive selection of international wines.

Bistro is open daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Reservations must be done until 7:30pm when including guests over 16 years old.

Chaká

With an international menu for breakfast and lunch served buffet-style* or á la carte, Chaká features a variety of international delights that are natural and healthy. Dinner offers a brand new Yucatecan menu inspired by the region's traditional cuisine, where the four defining pillars are Achiote (Annatto seed paste), citrus, habaneros (hot peppers) and smoke. Located near the Zen Grand Ambiance pool, this casual, open- air restaurant is situated amidst the tropical jungle foliage of mangroves, and Salam, Chechen and Chaká trees. *Seasonal Buffet menu available Indoor air conditioning sitting. Cocina de Autor

Cocina de Autor is the signature restaurant at Grand Velas All Suites & Spa Resort Riviera Maya. This esteemed Spanish restaurant features a world-class menu created by internationally acclaimed Spanish chefs Bruno Oteiza and Mikel Alonso. Each day at Cocina de Autor brings new choices in Spanish haute cuisine when Chefs Oteiza and Alonzo present their signature, gourmet Spanish Basque dishes in the a la carte menu of Mexican specialties. Choose from such delicious dishes as grilled lobster with black corn, deer with almonds, Piquillo peppers stuffed with duck and tamarind, and foie gras with granola and bougainvillea flowers. Coconut soup with fruit bread and hot chocolate cake are just a taste of what’s in store to complete your meal.

Frida

FRIDA Grand Velas Riviera Maya celebrates the legacy of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo at the esteemed Frida restaurant. Frida offers exceptional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Every dish is a gourmet masterpiece that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Mexico. The gourmet menu at Frida restaurant features such delicacies as grilled flank fillet with roasted cactus leaves and Chipotle chili pepper stuffed with cheese, red snapper fillet in zucchini flower sauce with corn mushrooms, and grilled portobello mushrooms and endives covered with Guajillo chili pepper cream. Complete your Frida experience with such mouthwatering desserts as tres leches cake with caramel sauce, Mexican chocolate mousse, or house made sorbet.
