Biskra
Overview
Introduction
We think Biskra is one of the most beautiful Algerian oases. Used by the Romans, it has date palms and the Hammam Salhine health spa at
Ad Poscinam. If all this sounds appealing, plan to stay at least two nights. Also see the El Kantar Gorge, the terraced village of
Rhoufi and the mosque of
Sidi Okba, where the ceiling is made from woven palm fronds.
120 mi/195 km southwest of Constantine.
