Introduction

Tianjin is not a name that is traditionally featured on most Chinese tour itineraries, but this is changing. Located about 80 mi/130 km southeast of Beijing, Tianjin was a co-host for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and the city capitalized on its raised tourism profile.
