Overview
Introduction
St. Kitts is a charming island of lofty green peaks, valleys, fields of sugarcane, and a mix of tropical and arid scenery. The larger of the two islands that make up the nation of St. Kitts and Nevis, it is some 68 sq mi/109 sq km long. (You can drive around St. Kitts in about two hours.) The main city and capital of the country, Basseterre, is bordered by the Caribbean Sea on the southern side of St. Kitts.
