Viking: Viking Buri

Buri is the first god in Norse mythology. He was created, not by a mother or father, but by a giant frosty cow named Audumbla. As she licked the salty blocks of ice in Ginnagagap, the shape of a man, Buri, was formed and she nourished him with her milk.

Onboard Activities

The middle deck reception lobby area is a great place to get information during your journey. Your Program Director’s desk is located here so that you can easily ask questions or discuss the day’s activities. There are a 24-hour tea and coffee station with a fruit basket and convenient restrooms.

Library

Tucked in a quiet corner, the onboard Library offers a carefully curated selection of titles. Choose a book and settle in for a good read that is sure to inform and inspire you during your journey.

Sun Deck

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. The sun deck is adjacent to the Sky Bar and there is an access way to the bridge.

Herb Garden

These “green” ships, feature an organic herb garden.

Walking Track

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery on the walking track.
