2024 World Cruise

PROS: The Crew, The size of the ship, All Inclusive, and the ports. And of course the Food!

CONS: The entertainment wasn't up to Crystal Standards the first half the cruise. The lack of Towel Bars in some of the remodeled suites

Fabulous Ship, Wonderful Itinerary, Great Food and Outstanding Crew!

There is nothing like a World Cruise, especially on a Luxury Ship like the Crystal Serenity. The cruise was 141 days of pure bliss! Although the itinerary had to be changed because of the trouble in the Middle East, we took it in stride. The ship has been re-sized to accommodate only 740 passengers, but the public rooms remained unchanged. You never stood in a line! The crew was always going out of their way to anticipate your needs. The Officers were always very visible and available for a conversation.

Crystal Serenity is back

September 2023 Iceland to Canada

PROS: Updated cabins, excellent cuisine (especially Umi Uma, the Nobu restaurant, and Waterside, the main dining room), and friendly staff (80% of whom have returned to Crystal). Stardust Club has become a successful supper club venue.

CONS: The Italian restaurant is starkly lit and has a new menu without many of the favorite dishes of Prego. The Lounge, filling the space formerly used as a casino, is underwhelming as a place for board games and puzzles.

RECOMMENDED: Yes

Crystal Serenity is fully back in service, with many familiar staff members and outstanding restaurants, bars and entertainment. Many of her cabins have been enlarged and updated, so she sails with 740 passengers, several hundred fewer than historically. Both Crystal Society members and new-to-Crystal guests will be delighted.
