PROS: Updated cabins, excellent cuisine (especially Umi Uma, the Nobu restaurant, and Waterside, the main dining room), and friendly staff (80% of whom have returned to Crystal). Stardust Club has become a successful supper club venue.
CONS: The Italian restaurant is starkly lit and has a new menu without many of the favorite dishes of Prego. The Lounge, filling the space formerly used as a casino, is underwhelming as a place for board games and puzzles.
RECOMMENDED: Yes
MoreCrystal Serenity is fully back in service, with many familiar staff members and outstanding restaurants, bars and entertainment. Many of her cabins have been enlarged and updated, so she sails with 740 passengers, several hundred fewer than historically. Both Crystal Society members and new-to-Crystal guests will be delighted.
